I noticed that there are no complete and untouched Mountain Lion ISO images uploaded on any torrent sites. The only one available had its boot sector stripped so it could fit onto a 4.7 gb dvd. Therefore it is not bootable or very hard to boot! So here is a untouched copy of Mountain Lion in the ISO format. It will require a dual layer dvd to burn! This iso was made by opening the golden master 'InstallESD.dmg' in disk utility and converting it to a cd/dvd master.

Macs use the extension '.cdr' for raw image files so I then changed it to '.iso'. Now it is completely compatible to be burned with any iso image burner available!
To burn on a mac in disk utility simply change the extension back to '.cdr'. Kole212-I am not sure exactly what you are asking but this torrent is intended for those folks who do not have access to a mac and want to burn Mountain Lion from any PC for various reasons. Ex, if you are building a hackintosh computer then you would need this torrent because burning a proper dmg on PC is not easy.
Or if your mac drive wont burn correctly for some reason then you can still burn Mountain Lion on any PC. If you already have a working mac there is no reason to download Mountain Lion in the ISO format! The regular dmg is just fine and there are way more seeders so it is a much faster download.

For all those who are seeing the torrent downloaded as corrupted can you please elaborate in fine detail as to how the file is corrupted. For example is there a problem with the installation or are there any particular error messages. Saying this download is corrupted without any detail helps no one. Also this is an untouched copy of Mountain Lion so it should work! Make sure your mac hardware can support this version of Mac OS X before installing it. Mountain Lion is 64 bit only so macs that require 32 bit video graphics drivers will not work!
Also if doing an upgrade (not a clean install) you MUST have at least 10.6.8 Snow Leopard installed otherwise it will NOT work. Elemental123-I created and uploaded this torrent and you are correct! I just did a sha1 hash scan on my windows pc 3 times using the utility that I provided a link to and another hash program, and both times I get the correct hash of B48FBA8054A252BACABFD8F5B56CF5. Then I did the same hash scan on a mac in terminal using the openssl sha1 command and got a whole different hash! It was 65c4aee5fd8d7e68a0be460601e0f068d4a58bc. Try generating the hash using windows and see if you are getting the same result.
I have never had a situation like this come up before. I will try to figure out the cause but if anyone has any clue to why this might be happening please post! In the meanwhile do hash checks using the windows utility. For those people who are having a hard time installing Mountain Lion on a PC it's because you are trying to install it on a PC!
Unless you custom built your computer with parts that work with mac systems 100% good luck. It is a highly improbable that you will install this on a PC and it will work completely right away. A lot of tweaks and other modifications must be done.
And even with all the work to make it functional it may still never work properly. Search online forums for help.
For all those who are having a hard time burning this image I say try the burning software I provided a link to and set the burn speed to the lowest you possible can to reduce the errors that a high speed burn can cause. This download is a ISO that should be compatible with all software that can burn that format. Hope that helps! Keep in mind that you do not have to burn this image to dvd to do an install: If you have Mac OS X 10.6 installed with the latest updates you can do an upgrade. Just open the image and double click on the installer. It should allow you to do an upgrade.
