Description The main problem with The Dubliners – the quintessential classic Irish Pub Band for over 40 years – is that they have released the same tracks on about 35 different albums. This makes constructing a discography a mix between difficult and pointless, considering that if you have three of their albums, you really have about 15 of them.

Whiskey In The Jar was a signature song for The Dubliners for many years and they later re-recorded the song with The Pogues in 1990 with a more up-beat version. It was also recorded and re-popularized by Thin Lizzy in the early '70's and Metallica in 1998. The discography of The Dubliners, an Irish folk band with record sales in excess of 30 million. Their discography consists of nineteen studio albums, twenty-four.

Add to that the fact that getting their torrents properly seeded has proven difficult, and it becomes a pain in the ass to try to get all their stuff. What I present here is just about every classic song they have produced (and a couple of different covers of the same ones) released in one torrent. I cannot call this the ‘complete’ Dubliners, but it’s pretty damned close. If anyone out there has anything I’m missing, especially the LIVE albums, please torrent them up and link to this one. Also, so nobody else has to go through the 4 months it took me to get this far with over 20 different torrent sites, please keep this thing seeded.

I will keep it available for the next six months, at least. Discography (such as it is) More at And And.

It's a little warped and wicked, with plenty of Irish-style punk, rock and hip-hop from the likes of the Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, the Pogues, House of Pain and Macklemore. And the traditional tunes and ballads have some edge, too, because, you know, if we have to listen to 'Danny Boy,' we prefer that Johnny Cash do the singing. There's certainly more to Irish music than drinking songs and boozy jigs and reels -- a whole great and grand musical tradition that is one of the richest on the planet. Patrick's Day, even our lullabies have to be drunken.
